cindy.yu
Hi I newly establshed store through my host Cpanel, then update version to latest 1.5.5.0 through "one-click". I deleted old/default products/catagory and set up my own ones. Big problem is that all images will not display. I tried nearly all means (move images or regenerate thumbnail) found in google or Prestashop forum. No luck till now. The only way I find to display images is to disable friend URL. Did some meet same problem as mine? How to solve the contradiction between image display and friend URL? Friend URL is very crucial and don't want to give up PS due to this. After all, it is the most suitable on-line store for me. Schema of URL of mine: Route to products: {category:/}{id}/{rewrite}.html Route to category: {id}/{rewrite}.html Thanks a lot. NemoPS
Hi there, and welcome to the forums! Are you sure mod_rewrite is correctly enabled on your server? It might just be that! Also, is there a chance we can see the live site?
cindy.yu
Hi there, and welcome to the forums! Are you sure mod_rewrite is correctly enabled on your server? It might just be that! Also, is there a chance we can see the live site? Hi Nemo I am not sure about "mod-rewrite". Is there any way to know if it is well build in my server? I am using Bluehost. Do you think if I delete all files and newly insall 1.5.5.0, instead of upgrading from lower version, could solve the problem? Thank you. NemoPS
Hi, to check mod_rewrite you have to ask your hosting. Just ask them if mod_rewrite is correctly enabled and configured on your server I can't tell whether or not erasing everything will solve it at this stage! cindy.yu
Hi My host informed that the mode-rewrite is correct in my server. I have no choice but choose a 100% new installing manually. Good news is that my problem was solved. Thanks CIndy
