smog20
Hi dear, I configure my prestashop 1.5 for url rewrinting and adding the Id at the end. http://acuarina.com.co/doppia-swimwear-7 But unfortunately when I click on the link manufacturer on the left menu the page that is loaded correspond to another category and not the manufacturer page. It looks like the page loaded is is the catgory with the id 7 of my catehories and not the id 7 related to manufacturer Anyone have a clue and can help me with this issue? Thanks a lot Kind regards, Laurent
vekia
this is because urls to the categories look the same as urls to the manufacturers, you need to create different urls to these pages. for example, for manufacturers use comma insted - (separator between string and number)
vekia
by looks the same i mean "the same patterns" this-is-sample-category-16 this-is-sample-manuf-16 mod rewrite (friendly urls) think, that second urls is also category because the pattern is the same

lukeandjackold
Just to let you know this still happens in 1.6 and your advice really worked for me vekia. Category, Manufacturer and Supplier all need to be different like: {rewrite}-{id} {id}_{rewrite} {rewrite}__{id}
wonderstore
Hello guys, I have a strange problem with manufacturer url: practically the main page that encloses the list of all manufacturers has the same url of one of the manufacturers themselves! Here is the link: https://www.occhialiretro.com/it/manufacturer/kiss This is a chaos for my SEO, in fact if you try to search Google "OCCHIALI KISS", my first link will appear as follows: If you click, you will see the list of all manufacturers, not directly the "KISS" page. So i would like to know if there is a way to separate the url of the manufacturers list and the KISS brand, which have the same. I do not know if it may be useful to see my current SEO & URL configuration (using the Vekia module to cut ID number). Here is the following: Thanks to all!
