How can I add clickable images to home page?

I would like to add a couple of clickable images to external sites on my home page but I can't figure out which page to put the code on. I went looking for the index page but there are several and all that I found look like a disclaimer of some sort for PrestaShop with little to nothing in the way of code. Any help would be appreciated.
