Modify footer of default theme 1.5.4.1

Dear all,

 

I would like to change my footer section of the default theme. I removed "money back guarrantee" section by removing {$HOOK_FOOTER} but now i see nothing on footer. I was using a simple footer on 1.4.6.2 :

I tried to copy-paste my old footer.tpl but it failed. So how can i modify footer section to my needing? Footer also must be in 3 different language, so i can not hard code it

hook footer is necessary code for footer section.

add {$HOOK_FOOTER} one again to your footer and turn force compile on in your "preferences" tab in back office and make sure that your cache is OFF

@vekia : Thanks for info. I changed it with original footer.tpl But now i am at square 1. I want to remove money back guarrantee section and change it to my old footer. So what should i do?

i just wondering how it looks before, you use 1.4.6.2 version and some non-default modules

have you got any image which shows how it should look like?

By the way, Modules -> Positions i unhooked the modules under footer section. Now i only see "Browse the mobile site" sentence. I am a little closer to my target.
