nyslouis
Is there anyone who can help? The admin page doesn't come up after log in, I wondering if I need any script or addon in order to have my page running correctly.
stottycabanas
Maybe a long shot, but I had a similar problem a while back on 1.5.4.1 and in my case it was due to case sensitivity mismatch between the folder names in the URL path and the folder names on the server (e.g. shop instead of Shop). None of the required jquery files were being included - they were absent when you viewed the page source.
nomad91
Hi, I am having the same problem ever sine I enabled SSL I am new to Prestashop and PHP and I have just installed Prestashop 1.5.5.0. I have contacted my hosting provider 'daily.co.uk' who state that the SSL cert is installed correctly and that the fault must be with Prestashop. I have also tried locating ps_ssl_enable in my database to force Prestashop not to use SSL as suggested but, this does not exist. Can you help as I do not want to have to re-install Prestashop for the 3rd time. thanks Chris Edited September 3, 2013 by nomad91 (see edit history)
nomad91
Hi, I am resubmitting the post as half of it is missing. I am having the same problem but after I have enabled SSL I am new to Prestashop and PHP and I have just installed Prestashop 1.5.5.0. Straight to the point. When I enable SSL from the admin panel I am redirected from http:// to https:// and all is ok on the back end however, if a customer tries to login to their account from the front end they are presented with a non-secure login page and after they input their credentials and click authenticate they are looped back to the login page with no ability to access their account (all they see is the login page). Then if I log out of the back end and try to login via the https://www.mystore.co.uk/admin**** link and input my credentials I am looped back to the login page and therefore cannot get back into the backend to disable SSL. I have contacted my hosting provider 'daily.co.uk' who state that the SSL cert is installed correctly and that the fault must be with Prestashop. I have also tried locating ps_ssl_enable in my database to force Prestashop not to use SSL as suggested but, this does not exist. lfccorreia
Hey, anyone has a solution on this? I had to create a local version of a prestashop (1.5.6.2) website and everything works correctly, except being able to connect to the backend and the frontend login Edited August 22, 2014 by lfccorreia (see edit history)
