Error: Unfortunately, an error occurred during the transaction

Hi, I'm new to PS and ran into a problem during testing. I hope some one may be able to help.

 

When "Confirming" an order after having selected payment method a user gets this warning/error over 3 lines in a red box:

 

 

Unfortunately, an error occurred during the transaction.

 

Please double-check your credit card details and try again. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact us anytime.

 

(Your Order's Reference: ACANARZES)

 

 

 

Now, everything else seems to work re the payment. User gets the correct infor when using Check or Bank Transfer. The order seems to be registrered OK. User gets an email with correct info. However, - user does not (and should not) enter any credit card details as he pays with Check or via bank transfer.

 

I did a google search and found this module, where the "error" was generated:

There are no entries in the log files (min level=2). My config setup is:

I find out the reason is about paypal account setting!

 

you can delete paypal or make paypal setting right!

I've got same error. My prestashop version is 1.5.3.1.

 

I've tried disabling/enabling paypal module and happens the same, so I propose to discart paypal configuration problem. Anyway, it haven't got so much sense that problem were in paypal module.

 

I'll investigate in order-confirmation.tpl, but any help will be so good acepted.

the problem come whene the stock is out

put more stock 

or disable stock managment  in 

Preferences Products      Enable stock management

To solve this is issue just simple solution is there if error is related to this.

 

I was getting error when i pay from paypal. Order is generated to admin with "Awaiting paypal payment".

 

For this status there are some setting here

 

Just go to order->statues. 

 

Edit statues for which you are getting error.

 

Click checkbox for  "Consider the associated order as validated." and save.

That wouldn't solve it... doesn't make sense. People on your site would think their order didn't go through and would try it again..

 

I receive this error code as well when trying it through advanced  payment on my site.

Yet another bloody time I find something from a long time ago that clearly never got fixed (because it just happened to me) and NO RESOLVE.  Why are so many issues on this forum just dead like this?  No help, no fix, no nothing.

i am getting same error there no1 who help us for this paypal module payment confirmation error ? this error only get when i activated  paypal payment advanced and try to buy things from credit card ...  otherwise normal paypal process work fine

Is the money coming through though? I see the error as well but amount of money is transfered correctly.

You must be misunderstood somewhere you not need to edit each order for that...

 

Just Goto Orders -> Statuses Menu in admin panel and edit status once only not everytime.
