Front end error with fresh install - Please help

Recommended Posts

Hello

I just installed a fresh Prestashop 1.5.4.1 and I'm having difficulties accessing the front store, I get the following error:

Warning: require(/home/www/ibscostarica.com/presta/../config/config.inc.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/ibscostarica.com/presta/index.php on line 30

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/www/ibscostarica.com/presta/../config/config.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5.3/lib//php') in /home/www/ibscostarica.com/presta/index.php on line 30

Please note: I have another site with a Prestashop store that works perfect.

The admin panel or back store works fine, the directory is:

www.ibscostarica.com/presta/index.php

Thanks in advance

Hello Vekia, yes I can see the config.inc.php inside the config directory.

This is the prestashop index.php line 30

require(_PS_ADMIN_DIR_.'/../config/config.inc.php');

and this is the config.inc.php:

file looks well, i think that the problem is a bit different.

as you can see script trying to load this file:

/home/www/ibscostarica.com/presta/../config/config.inc.php

/../ means that script looking for ibscostarica.com/config/config.inc.php file - it mean that script isn't looking for this filr in /presta/ subdir!

may i know how you installed your store? maybe with some pre-installators like softaculous?

Hi

I downloaded the packages (zip), unpacked it and uploaded it to my server via FPT, however, I did not uploaded it the root folder, I placed it in a subfolder in the root directory www.ibscostarica.com/presta/

Do you think that caused the issue? Also, before uploading the file via FPT, I setup the SQL server.

Once uploaded I installed the store via the installation file

Thank you
