Installation step 3 - Error

Hello,

 

Prestashop looks very good, sites in prestashop are just great. I want it too. I downloaded, firest 0.9.7 version put it on my host server starthosting.nl and by step 3 in the installation it says:

 

Error while inserting data into the database:

'SET NAMES \'utf8\''

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '\'utf8\'' at line 1(Error: : 1064)

 

I have made the database like this: Go to the provider site, log in, then MySQL control and then I can go to phpmyadmin, the database name is iautos-10(I tried iautos, iautos-3,4 etc) and I click make database and then by the step 3 in database name I put iautos-10 then I clik verify now I get database is connected but then I get the error above and I can't go further on. It send e-mail correctly. I have never made a database, can you tell me what do I wrong? Can you tell me how can I fix it?

Hi, I have the same problem on a 1.0 installation. I get to point 3, and then it stops installing.
I get the same error.
Could anyone help us?
I have another installation on another site, and thats runs fine.
is it something about the Mysql base ot the file perhaps?
