Lisa C.
Hi there again, guys. It seems like as soon as one problem's solved I've ran into another one! I'm in the process of moving my website's free products into our PrestaShop cart for a more streamlined feel to the site. Thing is, on the bottom of the free products page is a PayPal button and if one clicks on that button they receive this error: Error occurred: Please try to contact the merchant: PayPal response: TIMESTAMP -> 2013-08-25T08:40:02Z L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10525 L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Invalid Data L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> This transaction cannot be processed. The amount to be charged is zero. L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error Is there a way I can stop this error from happening? Or simply remove the PayPal button from certain pages I don't need it on? I'm running Prestashop 1.5.4.1 with the basic free PayPal modual. Our market is here. Any help would be greatly appreciated ^^; I'm sure the fix is simple and it's something I'm missing -.-' Thanks ahead of time, Lisa
Lisa C.
Update: I found a temporary fix by just disabling Express Checkout through the PayPal modual options, though I rather enjoyed having the option there. I know that as a customer I always feel better about purchasing from a site when that yellow button is present.
El Patron
was there a mix of free and paid products? if just free products, then why would anyone try to pay for them?
Lisa C.
Yes, there's a mix of free products and paid ones ^^; Our website had been offering free products on a seperate page for a while now, but it felt sloppy having two different areas of the site with two different setups and I thought it'd be more streamlined to have the freebies in our market in their own category. Several other sites in our field have a similar setup, where one must register and go through a sort of 'check-out' routien before downloading the item. I wouldn't exactly expect people to pay for free products
NemoPS
Well, I think that anyone getting both a free and paid product will not receive the error...correct? Or is it spawning anyway?
