foxygardner Posted August 24, 2013 Share Posted August 24, 2013 (edited) Help! I noticed today that when you add something to the shopping cart it doesn't work. In the upper right hand corner where my shopping cart is dispayed, it shows that I have products there. When I click on the cart, it displays this: > Your shopping cart Your shopping cart Your shopping cart is empty. I don't know how long it has been like this but I havent gotten any orders in a week. Everything worked perfectly prior. The only things I have changed in this time were adding new products, adding a new voucher code, and deleting then reinstalling the viewed product module. He said: Varnish Cache is something that could only be implemented on a VPS or dedicated server and would not be applicable to your account on our servers. I looked at all the posts I could find, looked at how they solved their issues, and nothing has worked. I'm puzzled because I haven't changed anything other than the few things I posted above. foxygardner Posted August 24, 2013 Author Share Posted August 24, 2013 Yes, I called a few people and had them try it and their shopping cart didn't work either. But, I finally figured it out. I had downloaded the modules: Addthis Block and Block advertising multiple I had installed them both at the same time a week or so ago but they were disabled so I didn't think about them when I noticed my problem this morning. I deleted both of them and now my shopping cart works again. I'm not sure which one my issue was related to. Thank you again Vekia for taking the time to respond. abhimanyu_rishi Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Hi, I am facing a similar issue. i tried all possible theories but none has worked for me. somehow my cart is not able to allow guest checkout or quick-order. it just fails in displaying products during guest checkout. works perfectly fine with user based checkout though. abhimanyu_rishi Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 tried all of the resolutions mentioned above in the loop and aswell on other forums.. issue has recently started occurring since past 15 days have recently installed some modules from lof and prestashop in terms of lof modal cart, block QR code by prestanesia.com, PSS/ PDF invoice plus by Prestascope and PSS/Block Wordpress by prestascope. not yet tried on the default theme as have not updated the same since a while. wondering if it just reproduces the database. Everthing seemed to be working allright.. until I tried to place an order. I have cleared cache, all cookies and tried from several computers and asked customers to try .. 1st item can be added to the shopping cart, and show summary when pushing on checkout. Then when you try to continue shopping or go to the login step, the cart gets empty. This is driving me crazy now for about 2 days, I have been going looking at the forum also forge etc.. and nothing works. my shop is at www.azaharafashion.es tried to change preferences in SEO & URLs to azaharafashion.es and then desactivate Friendly URL and going back ... but nothing helps. Are not any of the prestacides (similar to homicides) overviewing this? charge more money but give better service and never ask a paid or registered user to create a new forum for the same issue. Try and resolve the issue on the same thread. will help you grow. I don't get any support/ resolution from either prestashop nor leotheme. whenever you contact them they just revert saying we are upgrading the theme. Cheaters!!!
