All that my Google searches have returned are modules that are either payed, or created for (and compatible with) 1.4. Can anybody give me a hand please?Tank you! Create Blog category in CMS (Preferences -> CMS), then you are able to post Pages in this category as blog pages. Add the link to this CMS Category to the main menu (something like index.php?id_cms_category=1&controller=cms where use CMS category id instead of one or use user-friendly link of this category), in addition you can customize cms.tpl under condition of CMS category id.
