Newbie, needs some help with a few questions - Backups, changing flag from usa to british, plus need special module.

Hey guys, let me first start by saying... WOW, i have been looking to create a shop for a while and every decent solution i found was either very expensive or not what i was looking for.

Prestashop i love it so much thank you, and as soon as i can earn a bit of cash i am going to donate as i am so so so impressed.


Here are a few questions as i am just learning so bare with me.

I want to make regular backups, how do i do this? I think i have done it but am not sure if it correct. I go to Tools - DB Backup, and when i do a backup it says successful, but the download file is only 49kb???

I would like to also change the flag from USA to the British flag, not trying to offend anyone, its just this shop is based in Estonia and every estonian website that offers english language all has british flags, its just the common thing to do here, plus i am british.

The other question i have is, here in Estonia when you buy on the internet and want to have true payments to your bank (not bank wire transfers) everything has to be done via your ID Card. more info www.id.ee - people here dont input the cards numbers online here its all don via pin number and ID Card reader.

This is way out of my league and i would be interested if the presta team would develop a module for me along with pricing etc.

db backup is small at first - you almost have no data to export

from->admin->tools->languages->press edit icon and upload your flag to the Flag file input box
