HI, I just noticed your Social Network Links post back in May.

 

I downloaded it and would like to install it on my server.

 

It came as a .zip file.

 

How do I upload and install it to my server so that the Modules will recognize it?

 

Also, can I customize it and put the Follow Us icons up at the top of my theme?

hello

 

you can install this module "normally"

it mean that you can upload module package in the modules > modules tab

 

(click on "add new" button then you will see the form to attach the .zip file with module)

I like the look, but is there any way to get the icons to appear at the very top of the page? If not, can you recommend an alternative social media module that will allow that? I'm wanting Follow Us buttons, not share.

 

Right now you just offer a limited number of places that they can appear.

as far as i remember this module has got possibility to display it in the "top" section of the page.

you can always modify the css styles if you want to personalize position / display method

I got the icons to work the way I want at the top of the page! I just had to style them with an absolute positioning. Looks great!

 

But now, I also have a blog portion of the website that is WordPress based. The template I used is based it on the About Us page.

 

I'm going to have to put it in manually. I copied the code for the icons that I found in the View Source page to the header.php WordPress page.

 

But the icons don't appear.

 

What else do I need to add so that the Follow Us icons appear in my blog portion?
