vekia
have you configured the module? it's necessary. if so, and you still haven't got possibility to see the dropdown effect there, i think that the problem is related to the javascripts. can you check browser console for JS parsing errors? fpaul
Sure. URL is; http://clickastro.org Under 'Horoscope' category in top horizontal menubar, there are 4 products but don't see drop down option. While I can see the drop down option under '[spam-filter]y Software' which is a CMS category. Many thanks in advance.
vekia
that's right there is no subcategories. and everything is okay with JavaScripts there. the problem, i suppose, is with cache, have you tried to clear cache?

fpaul
Yes, I cleared Cache system-wise and manually cleared all data from the installation directory. But still no luck with the drop down option on 'Horoscope' category. Thanks a lot for your help.
stottycabanas
When you configure the top horizontal menu module, you select subcategories (not products) that will populate the dropdowns below each category. Currently, you do not have any subcategories, so no dropdown appears. It seems your requirement is to have products showing in the dropdowns - I think this would need some custom coding.

vekia
you mean that you want to add products as a separate menu item in top horizontal menu module?
fpaul
I wish to see dropdown of products under category 'horoscope' in top horizontal menu bar.
0121stephen
Did you find out how to do this. I'd like to add products to the drop down menu too. At the moment I have them listed under subcategories and it seems a bit messy. My website is matchafactory.nl. Thanks, Stephen
vekia
by default it isn't possible to create dropdown with products automatically (in default module) only with modificaitons. unfortunately.
0121stephen
Do you have one of your awesome tutorials to show how to do this? Or could you point my in right direction. Or is this a large and tricky job? Thanks, Stephen
vekia
hello if you want to create "automatic" system, it will be a bit hard to achieve (modification of php files, sql queries, a lot of work) if you want to display only certain of products, you can do it manually, you will need to create new <li> element with submenu with products (manually create main menu item, subcategories and urls to product pages)
