Moving the Login

Oficailly stumped.,.,

 

Want to move just the "Login Link" to the top of the page as shown. Assuming its all part of a block, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to move it.

 

Ultimate goal is to move said link to the top so I can close the GREEN gap...

You need to

1- go to modules->positions in the back office and find the "Top of pages" hook. Here, move the module before permanent links and currency.

 

Once done, if it doesn't stick there, you'll need to add some css changes. Post the site url here afterwards, in case it doesn't display as it should

Thanks but im only trying to move "LOGIN" to above "currency". I dont want move the entire block. Nothing is changed for any css at the moment, so the default CSS should be exactly what is displayed on my site.

so if you don't want to move whole block user info, you will have to modify the module code a bit.

You can, for example, download free html block module and insert the "LOG IN" button to it.

Then attach it to the Top hook section (and move it to the top of the list under modules > positions)

I misread that. I tried the hook but all it accomplished was moving contact and sitemap to the left a bit, login and account remain in the same spot

Have you turned of force compile (admin panel/advanced parameters/performance)?
