Stefand
I know that one, but I mean here: it's random: (filter on category, backoffice function)
vekia
it's random? i think that this is based on categories position inside the "home" category
Stefand
So it means I need to change hunderds of categories in the right order, I have also multishop, so the order is only for 1 store. Is there no solution (even if it's paid?)
vekia
i don't know any module for this, especially because to achieve what you want - its necessary to change the controllers of admin page. as far as i know, you want to change order only in this feature ? (picture above) nothing more, riight?
Stefand
Yes, but for all categories and products in the ASC order (alphabetical) is also OK. If the display is logical, the customer is very happy. Edited August 20, 2013 by Stefand (see edit history)
Stefand
Can somebody help me here?
vekia
if you want to change categories order method also in different pages (modules) like blockcategories, block top menu etc. you have to edit each module .php file or module configuration. for example - block categories module has got configuration page where you can define categories sort method
Stefand
Thank you for the reply, but that's not what I mean with: For all categories and products in the ASC order (alphabetical) is also OK. If the display is logical, the customer is very happy. I talk about the BACKOFFICE Someone? banchijojo
I think I have the same problem... I cannot sort my categories alphabetically in the back office - see image. I upgraded from 1.3 to 1.5 and my two new categories were just added to the end of the previously alphabetical list. Front office is fine. Any suggestions?
