1cctv
i had a server running centos 6.4 + zpanel. i could easily move/ copy prestashop store by simply copy folder content, import database, adjust user, pass, db name in settings.inc.php. not anymore. purchased licence for direct admin as zpanel is full of bugs and unfinished things. i have 8 presta stores. done usual procedure. 6 were displaying aparently normal, 2 not at all - says error 500. those displaying were frequently crashing in backstore, all of them when setting "performance". message like this: /cache/class_index.php is not writable, please give write permissions (chmod 666) on this file. even i set accordingly, still get same message again and again. ok, i dropped direct admin. built my old server again, centos 6.4+ zpanel. found there is a new version of zpanel installed. behaviour same as direct admin. i was going crazy. moved again some stores to a host in the us running cpanel. all works just fine there. i checked, there is same version of php on all. what has happend that i cannot move presta stores anymore on zpanel and direct admin? it still works just fine on cpanel. l.e. i guess may be something connected with chmod. anybody has a list? tried to set 666 as found somewhere but does not display at all. trying 755 recursivelly on store folder. any other ideea? l.l.e. managed to make it work by setting 775 recursivelly on store folder, then 777 on those folders needing write permission according to presta install manual. only works with 777 on those, not 666 or anything else: Recursive write permission on ~/config/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/cache/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/log/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/img/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/mails/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/modules/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/themes/default/lang/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/themes/default/pdf/lang/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/themes/default/cache/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/translations/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/upload/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/download/ File browser / FTP client / command line Recursive write permission on ~/sitemap.xml File browser / FTP client / command line Is it OK this way or not safe? mfedorets
Hi Please read the similar topic Problem with installation message #5 and subsequent ones, maybe you find explained solution appropriate. Upd: one more similar quiestion. Why don't you use multishop feature to run all your shops on one database?
