visua
Hi, can you use custom thumbnail images instead of automatic resized ones?
rocky
When adding a product, on the "2. Images" tab, select the image to upload, select "Manual" under "Thumbnails resize method", then click "Save image". The image resize page will appear, allowing you to select each image size and move a box around the image to define which part of the image should be the thumbnail. Unfortunately, I can't see a way to scale the box though, so it looks like you can only crop the full-size image. You would have to manually upload the images to the img/p directory if you wanted to scale images yourself.
visua
This is an interesting problem, there is no way to upload a custom image for a thumbnail? I have completely seperate images for thumbnails than I do for the actual product image.I see i can upload them to the folder, so it's technically the same thing. But a few extra steps :\
visua
This has proven to be pretty difficult, surprisingly. Is there a way i can just completely disable the image processing upon upload? This seriously limits designers.I've tried overwriting images in img/p but i get access denied via FTP. I've chmod'ed the folder, when I try to write permissions on the files, I get denied. There has got to be a way to customize the images, this sucks :\ Pretty much a deal breaker for prestashop at this point. visua
Does anyone know if its possible to over write the files? I can't figure out why its denying me the ability to write over the image in img/pAs i mentioned above, chmod on the files is denied.
megahoboriffic
My client is having a lot of trouble with the images in general - the automatic resizing and the manual editor are not practical! Is there any way prestashop can make these work so I don't have to create a whole image preparation scheme so they can the images they want? coalesce
I'm very interested in this question as well...
netcrawle
I would very much be interested in this as well. Only thing missing as far as I can see is the possibility to scale the image/box down as rocky mentions further up in this thread. Anyone got any input on this? It's a pretty crucial bit in a cart wanting to be taken seriously
