leowls
Hello, I'm using 1.5.3.1 and lately I have been receiving this error on my backend product edit page. Can someone assist me in overcoming this issue? I could not update my products due to this. Thank you. I'm using godaddy by the way.
El Patron
this appears to manifest itself with different setting in the server. here are some links that might help. you should contact your hosting provider for questions concerning your apache modules. http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-5576?focusedCommentId=64727&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-64727 I also found this interesting, this would be a ps native fix for 1.5.4.1 http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-7799 which points to this fix: https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/commit/08f5a01bd84cb58b11828ac5e9ff7cb4444136e2
leowls
Hello i have contacted my host provider and this is what they say: We are unable to support third party application issues and we do not support the inner functionality of this program. As mod-evasive can not be disabled using a .htaccess file you would not be able to disable it on your hosting account. If you are having difficulty using a third party product, we can help troubleshoot that process to the point that we find that the issue lies entirely within the configuration of that product. You may wish to consult with a community forum online or do a search on your favorite search engine as other users may have encountered a similar problem in the past and may offer helpful solutions. I have tried the solution you provided but it didnt work. What else can i do? Thank you.

gabiatti
This issue starts to appear in my PS vs 1.5.5.0, two days ago, when I edit products. It opens a popup saying that some tabs could not be loaded (my version is in Portuguese). Any option I choose opens a blank page, them I have to reload the page several times, or even restart the browser to work again. Any news about that issue? Everything that I checked in other posts could not gave a reasonable solution to this problem.

sandy03700
Do You trying my solution? You can use other similar values until it become. Hola, I have the same issue for the last 15 days with shared hosting go daddy, opened a ticket after escalation and now....waiting but not very optimistic.... I have a question : only go daddy can change mod_evasive settings, correct ?
gabiatti
Hi sandy03700, I have 2 shared hosts with GoDaddy. Everything works fine till last Monday. On both hosting accounts where I have 4 Prestashop stores. Talking with them, they told me that Apache had an upgrade on the servers, so mod_evasive now is locking Prestashop Ajax requests. You don't have access to mod_evasive, and they can't do nothing to you, if you have shared plans. I had to upgrade to VPS in one of my accounts, but I did not work in to check if the problem will be really fix. Try http://www.inmotionhosting.com/business-hosting, maybe they can deal with this issue.
