THEME INSTALLATION "help" for prestashop 1.4.3

I recently purchased a new theme that is compatible with prestashop V1.4.3. I have set up prestashop V1.4.3 on ipage. I am trying to install the theme and am having problems. I have tried both FTP and the themeinstaller with no luck.

I get no errors with the theminstaller but nothing happens. It just loads, then stops on the same page where I entered the file name

With FTP I uploaded the img, module and theme folder to the root directory "prestashop" but it is still not showing up under my theme. I also now have "?" on a number of my files in the root directy

I did notice that when i received the original email to download the template it came with a password for the zip file but no where was a asked for the password so I am not sure if this is the cause or what

 

Can anyone help me?

yes it might be related to the password, try to unpack this file and pack it again without password.

if this will not work, install theme manually by moving it to the /themes/ directory (and modules to the /modules/ dir)
