I assume you're about to have single sign on for administrator user for both PS and WP, am I right?

That case you can try to look for OpenID modules, there're some free modules for WP, not sure if there's any for PS that's free though.

 

OpenID is one of the easiest way to have an SSO, since you don't actually invest in any infrastructure relate to SSO, but it relies on third-party service. If you don't care so-super-much about privacy or conspiracy theory, and not selling any dangerous items against humanity, I think that would be the best place to look.

Are there any chances where I can roll out my own openID provider on localhost (merely for testing purpose) before I put my hands on my own domain? I'd like to get the feel of how things may work out together before implementing on my production site.
