Richard S
Hello, I am having a strange problem. I've updated from PS1.4 to PS1.5 using OneclickUpdate. Everything was fine, no problems, no errors. I set up mulstore just by copying the same info to three different shops and I am filling up the info now. There were no problems while I'v edited one shop. I put all the info (description and features) and everything was good untill I started filling up another store. Now when I change the shop and try to save it by adding the feature values it just overrides my other shop and other language information, for example, the features just disappear even on another shop another language What could be wrong here? Richard S
I've also just tested with a fresh install. it seems that it does not matter if you go to another shop and change the features it shows the last product features that were saved trough out all shops. It just overides the features from the product you are editing. Then here's a question how to change description and other things in one shop and save it without overriding the features. bellini13
Hi Richard, looking at the database, the ps_feature_product table does not have a shop column, so it would appear that is the reason
Richard S
Yes, but then it is a bug, is not it?. I am not sure or do I need to add those somehow otherway. I would like to get attention from someone at PrestaShop
bellini13
If you feel its a bug, you would file a bug tracker report. It could be working as intended. A product can be shared between different stores, but perhaps the features were not intended to be different.
Richard S
Yes, that might be the case, but the problem is when you change the shop or language (where the features were not created) and save that product it override all the features on all shops with nothing. bellini13
if you think its a bug, i would file a bug report. you are likely not going to get any PS dev support on the forum.
Richard S
Yeah, I already did that here: http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-10122 I've seen some developers also talking here and there's one person working only on forums PrestaShop. Maybe it is as you've said done like that by purpose, but there's nothing helpful on the topics. By the way, thanks for your help.
