how to upload prestashop website from local host to server

i have developed pretashop website on localhost now i want to host this website .i have uploaded presashop folder(where i worked on local system) on the server whenever i write domain name into browser then it goes for installation and dont show working profiles .show only initial site.

 

so plz tell me how i can host it

have you removed the /install/ directory? it's necessary.

 

have you also exported the database, and then - imported it to the remote server?

i have just renamed it like install12345 not deleted.

i have also exported database and imported on server db.

 

if i remove install folder from prestashop .will it work and dont ask 4 installation.

btw. you changed also database credentials in the settings.inc.php file (/config/ subdirectory) ?

Is there no back office backup module that would zip all you files and create a fresh install, but with your current database (as in Joomla) ... so you then just unzip and run install and everything will be restored to the new server
