benjamin utterback
Hello, Do you have a CSV file that is compatible with PrestaShop? The SQL Database is a PrestaShop database?
Alexanderleo
Its both files from a former Prestashop installation.
benjamin utterback
First you would need to make sure that you use the same version. What version is the database and csv file from? .... When you import a database you also need to import the PrestaShop folders and files, especially if you have done any configuration changes, installed additional modules etc. The SQL database is just one part of it. A backup of a store requires both the SQL database and the PrestaShop files attaching the Database.

But i can't and now you say i need the product files also? So its impossible to make possible?
benjamin utterback
I don't even want to say something is impossible but the SQL Database changes with different settings and configurations. Just having the Database and CSV is not enough to recreate a store without the connecting PrestaShop files that fit the database. Think of it as a connecting gears to make a machine work. If one gear is slightly over-sized or undersized, it won't work. A CSV file can be uploaded to a default installation, and usually can be carefully constructed to update products and other attributes on a live store. So without any side files I cant import the product list.
