the hat lady Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 So when I use the front office log in chrome it just loops. I know it is a cookie thing/ www thing but I really need a fix. I have read of others having similar issues but this does not appear resolved. I know it is something to do with the www in my second shop, but if I take the www away then the shop will revert to default shop 1. Both shops have different domains. I found also if I dont have the ssl filled in on the second shop then paypal works (it was going to a blank page previously then the cart would not fill) so that issue resolved, there is still this supposed cookie thing. I tries a gib hub solution in shop.php but that retruned no site at all. So I really need the browser issue working so my customers can log in. the hat lady Posted August 14, 2013 Author Share Posted August 14, 2013 Thank you, I think I have a solution, not sure if it is perfect but seems to work without having to play with all sorts of code. In the back office, multishop, group second shop. I set up a second URL under my shop. First URL of second shop : sapphirepets.co.nz as main URL. Then second URL www.sapphirepets.co.nz (making sure not to have this one in ssl as paypal does not like that). Noting my first shop www.petseverywear.co.nz was set up with www and had no issues. The issues only happened with the second shop which kept redirecting to the first shop if i took off the www. until this work around. So chrome seems happy. What do you think?
