Theme adaptation from Prestashop 1.5.3.1 to 1.5.4.1

Hello,

 

I need your help.

 

Is anyone adapt a theme from Prestashop 1.5.3.1 to 1.5.4.1 ? Is there any problem in doing this ?

 

Does it work directly Or is there any specific development to do ?

It seems to work fine directly when update from prestashop 1.5.3.1 to 1.5.4.1

There may be some (small?) errors fixed in 1.5.4.1 that were available in 1.5.3.1. This mostly happens in the php files. Theme files normally modify tpl and css files, so probably no problem.

 

Maybe check in the theme zip file if there's any php file OTHER than the ones directly needed for the theme (i.e. its OWN php files, files with the theme name in it. Those will normally be no problem, only if they connect to Prestashop functionality that has been changed...)

If you ever see any problem arise, just temporarily change back to the 1.5.4.1 default theme and see if it's there a problem as well. if NOT, there may be a problem in your theme. Then contact the developer.

 

Anyway good to check with the developer if any issues are known... :-)
