Ray UK
Hi, On our shop www.no-match.co.uk, sometimes when a customer places an order, it splits the order into 2 seperate orders, therefore charging 2 lots of P&P. What could be causing this ? The Shipping Carriers are all Unselected, therefore any can be used. The products are assigned the same warehouse. Im stumped on this one :/ I also get an error message in the back office ( see attached pic ) Any help is appreciated. Ray
tomerg3
Prestashop will split orders in two cases. 1) 1 Carrier is not available for all the products, if you select certain carrier for 1 product, and another carrier for another product, ti will be split. 2) Products are not stocked in the same warehouse, if you use advanced stock management, and you assigned products to different warehouses, or one is assigned and another is not. Prestashop has a bug that messes up both orders because of rounding / calculation error (not a big surprise), but in your case, it sounds like the split is not on purpose.
Ray UK
Thanks Tomerg. ... I think I found the problem. Both 1 & 2 points we fine as per my original post. There is a point 3... Although they were assigned to the same warehouse, and no carriers were selected ( so all are available ). In Product Quantites, I want to specify available quantities manually" was somehow selected. (I didnt select this) Anyhow, I have now change this back to: I want to use the advanced stock management system for this product. Available quantities for current product and its combinations are based on warehouse stock. I think this is the cause of it... fingers crossed !
