When my customers try to checkout via paypal through their credit cards they are getting the following error..

Can someone please help on this issue??

This issue will have one of the three possibilities

1. You have sandbox mode enabled

2. You are using sandbox credential in production mode

3. You had copied wrongly your security information username password etc.

I have checked and none of the three points you mentioned is correct,,

Note that I am receiving payments from clients who are already registered with paypal,. but those who are not registered with paypal when they try to check out through paypal using their credit card this error appears..

This might be issue with the guest check out. Paypal module version for this prestashop didn't provide functionality for guest check out. You have to bought full paypal version...

Again this is not the case with guest checkout as the customer register on my website , but I can't force them to register on Paypal

Hello Shariq,

 

Prestashop and Paypal only works with registered user .

 

You have to disable Guest Check Out option from Prestashop admin area. Because Paypal Module doesnot have functionality for guest user.

Guest checkout is already disabled in my webstore,, The customers I am referring to are already registered at my webstore, but they are not registered at PAYPAL,., they are trying to make payment via paypal using their credit card..

I have been told told that to get Paypal to work is to upgrade my hosting package from shared host to dedicated host.. Not sure if thats true...
