barbour
Been searching for days and can't find any solutions to this problem. Since I upgraded my system the voucher/coupon won't work. In the BO I can set up the code and everything seems fine. But when a customer tries to enter the code, they get the following error: There is 1 error This particular voucher is already in your cart. I have tried deleting and recreating the code and the problem still exists. I found one reference from March 2013: http://forge.prestas...%3Aall-tabpanel Others had the same problem, but I don't see any solutions. Thanks R PS. I am using one of the prestashop made themes for 1.5.4 Edited August 12, 2013 by barbour (see edit history)
vekia
i've got one question, what ps version you used before update?
barbour
I think it was 1.4.8 Just one note, I actually installed a clean version of 1.5.4 and then imported my products into the store. I only had about 50 items, and the auto upgrade wasn't working for some reason.
benjamin utterback
So this wasn't a true "upgraded store" . You just imported your products and pictures and descriptions etc. Did you import your vouchers as well?
barbour
No just products. Then I created a new coupon and assumed it was working fine. Then I heard from a few customers it wasn't and they got the above error message.
benjamin utterback
You have included a voucher code? Remove the code and see if it works automatically.
barbour
Doesn't work automatically. My customers have been paying full price and calling me to get a refund back from the non working code. I even deleted the code, recreated it with a new name and still the problem exists.
barbour
I went into my phpmyadmin and made sure all vouchers were deleted in the database. Then I entered a new one in the BO and even used the generator program to come up with a code for me. But I received the same error message. I also switched themes back to the default them, and still the error persists. I see here, that others have the same problem with no solution: http://forge.prestas...%3Aall-tabpanel
barbour
Still looking for a solution. Should I go back to an older version of PS. Clean install the current version?
barbour
Just upgraded to the new PS today and still the voucher won't work. First time I enter my code the screen just refreshes with no changes. On the second try, I get the error at top: There is 1 error This particular voucher is already in your cart. benjamin utterback
What exactly is the voucher you are using? Can you take screenshots of the Informations, Conditions, and Actions tab? What version of PrestaShop did you start with? What is your update/ upgrade history?
smallbizwiz
I had the same error, and this did the trick (not sure why, but it worked): Try unchecking “If the voucher is not yet in the cart, it will be displayed in the cart summary.”, then re-checking On the customer side, Log-out, log back in. You should re-enforce a log-out anytime a user closes his browser. Good luck!

Thanks for posting a solution that worked for you!
