homeslider "None upgrades..."

Recommended Posts

The following module(s) were not upgraded successfully:

- homeslider :

None upgrades have been applied

To prevent any problem, this module has been turned off

Shop http://www.knightsshop.com

I've been attempting to get this shop up for months. Every time I'm almost there I make the apparent *mistake* of upgrading to the "now stable/final" version of PS and more errors pile on top of old ones. It's become very disheartening and I'm about to bail and go pay for a more reliable solution. I've lost more in business revenue than it would have cost me to use Yahoo or another cart!

I appreciate ANY help. And if anyone is reasonably priced and available to get this working, reliably and securely - please send me a message.

Okay, did as you suggested and it's back! (yay!) however...it's on the bottom of the page.

What's the best way to start a clean install and not lose the products that are setup? I know at one point I had modified things to hide the left side boxes and put a grid in, etc... I'm ready to surrender to an out of the box, clean install and live with it until I know better!

Thank you so much for your help vekia! <3

((pulled from maint - hope my clients don't visit! it's a mess. Also had the menu bar knocked out of alignment))

you can change position of the module under the modules > positions tab in your back office.

You've got there full list of the modules attached to the "hooks" in your store. *hook are place where the modules appear like left column, right column, footer section etc.

search for "displayHome" hook (homepage modules) and you can change position of each module attached to this place. Just drag n drop the home slider module to the top of the list. Shoud help

about the problem with menu you can read here: menu moved to right fix

let me know if you will have additional questions, i will definitely try to help :)

Thank you SO MUCH Vekia! Finally things are looking up! I've gotten the menu fix in, changed css so my logo lays right on top of the bar, even with the cart box. ONWARD and UPWARD!!

I'm looking to see if my "Product Customization" tab can be presented first or alone - Many of my products are custom engraving or embroidery. I would like this tab to be more obvious.

Anyway - THANK YOU!! :)
