1.3.7.0 prestashop (swedish) shopping cart thumbnails shows "no image available"

My prestashop 1.3.7.0 ,using Swedish as language.

Some of the products could not show any picture in the shopping cart thumbnails.I attatch the html resource and the missing thumbnails .Please anyone could help?

The difference between good ones and bad ones is:

working well.

Why they are in the different category? And how to fix it?

can you show the contents of the tpl file? it will be really helpful in this case

Hi icrosser,

Try this:

- Rename the .htaccess file in the shop root (rename to .htaccess_ORIG)

- Create a new .htaccess by going to Preferences->SEO&URLs. Here turn OFF friendly URL's, Save, And turn Friendly URL's back ON. Save.

This creates a new .htaccess and the images might magically appear again. We hope...

nice idea Pascal, i totally agree with you, regenerating the htaccess should do the trick. But the problem is in fact, that he use prestashop 1.3.7.0

there is no option to regenerate the htaccess, moreover - there is no "preferences > seo & urls" tab in the back office.

option to turn on / off friendly urls are here: PREFERENCES

Another option is to re-generate the thumbnail pictures. Maybe somehow some are missing:

First check in Preferences->Images.

See in the matrix if you have a green check in the products column, crossing with

- small_default

-medium_default

-large_default

-home_default

If so, press the re-generate button (if you want, you can select only images of Products)

(Maybe AFTER this, if this doesn't solve the problem yet, follow my sugestion of regenerating the .htaccess once more

Vekia, does turning off and on friendly URL's again in 1.3.7.0 regenerates the htaccess?? Or how should you do that?

you've got right

in the ps 1.3.7.0 this is the only way to regenerate the htaccess file, but friendly urls option switcher is located in different tab:

it is in PREFERENCES tab (there is no preferences > sero & urls)

When using 1.3.7.0, this also may not apply. Sorry for confusion.

Thank you all for kindly help!

I tried with 2 methods:

1,re-generate thumbnails . Result: False.

2,re-generate htaccess file. Result: It do helps with some products without any attribute.But it will not affect the ones with attribute like size.{there's ways to regenerate htaccess in 1.3.7.0. First ,Back Office >> Preferences >>friendly url :YES;Second, Back Office >> Tools >> Generators Generate your ".htaccess" file(before that you have to upload an empty .htaccess files in the prestashop root)}

3,Problem not resolved yet...So I attach the shopping-cart.tpl and shopping-cart-product-line.tpl ,please kinldy check it .Hope I didn't mess it up.I think it's something wrong caused by coding issue?Because it rarely happened with my Engilish sites.

can you for test purposes create new image type?

go to the preferences > images

create new image type named "newsmall"

with configuration like this:

then regenerate the thumbnails for new image type:

last step: open the shopping cart product line tpl file and change:

<img src="{$link->getImageLink($product.link_rewrite, $product.id_image, 'small')}" alt="{$product.name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" width="{$smallSize.width}" height="{$smallSize.height}" />

to:

<img src="{$link->getImageLink($product.link_rewrite, $product.id_image, 'newsmall')}" alt="{$product.name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" width="{$smallSize.width}" height="{$smallSize.height}" />
