Joe Retail
Please take a look at this error log and tell me were to look for problems. I do not write code so I am stuck at this point. This upgrade has failed 4 times. The most recent time I upgraded from 1.4.9 to 1.4.11 first. That upgrade to 1.4.11 worked fine. When I tried to upgrade to 1.5.4 I got errors and the site was no longer accessible via the web. I am restoring a backup. Thank you. prestashop error message - upgrade - 1.4.11 to 1.5.4.txt Edited August 7, 2013 by Joe Retail (see edit history)
bellini13
its complaining of missing fields in the database, which is unusual. did you use the autoupgrade module? If so, restore your backups and then try to perform the upgrade following the manual method in the upgrade guide, which can be found in the resources menu on this site. I can also offer my services to perform the upgrade, if that is something you are interested in.
Joe Retail
I did use the 1 Click Upgrade method. I have noticed that almost all of the tables are using InnoDB except ps_order_tax which is using MyISAM for some reason. I don't know how this happened. Is this a problem? See screen shot. Should I convert to one or the other? I originally had an earlier version of PrestaShop and used a special module to upgrade to 1.4x so that I could use the 1 Click Upgrade function in the future. Perhaps the underlying old database structure caused the problem. I tried to use the "Repair" function in phpMyAdmin but it mostly said that all of the InnoDB parts were not compatible and the single MyISAM one was OK. its complaining of missing fields in the database, which is unusual. did you use the autoupgrade module? bellini13
not going to guess at what you did or if they caused the problem. I can repeat my suggestion however Restore your backups and then try to perform the upgrade following the manual method in the upgrade guide, which can be found in the resources menu on this site. Joe Retail
I am going to take your suggestion and try a manual upgrade. Luckily, I will back up before I do for easy restoration if it fails. Restore your backups and then try to perform the upgrade following the manual method in the upgrade guide, which can be found in the resources menu on this site.
