States list in FO

I want in authentification page in FO, the states list and countries to be displayed like in BO, Customers -> Addresses.
I mean, in BO, in the country list is selected the default country, and in the states list, the states are ordered by name, as it said in States.php, function getStates.
In FO, authentification page, the default country is not selected, and the states list are ordered by... whatever. This order has nothing to do with my order from getStates function.

Can anybody help me?

PS. How can I do that the inactive states don't display in the states list?

If your shop is USA based then set this in the BO.
Back Office >> Shipping >> Countries (bottom of page)

Now everybody who signs up will have USA a default coutry and must select a state.

I have just one country, is set to default in BO, but in authentification page is not selected by default. In BO->Customers->Addresses is.

It's not the default template, but even in the default ps template it's the same thing. I think this could be programmed in authentication.tpl file, but I'm not a programmer, so I couldn't make it.

Solved. It seems that the states list was messed up after I've deleted the USA states. So, I've imported the original state table and just added my states. But I think this is a little bug. Or not?
