Help with combinations

Hi everyone!

 

I am new to prestashop and am aware that my problem may be really easy to solve, but I have been trying everything for the last 2 days...

 

The problem I am having is that I would like to list a product such as a laptop. I want the user to be able to choose a colour from red and black. For this I use combinations and I have to add the number of each in stock.

So far so good.

 

But then I would like to have another drop down next to the product which lists a number of USB mouse devices at different prices.

I can do that by creating more combinations and then setting stock levels for each one, BUT I also want to sell the same mice in combination with other products. If I have to set a stock number for each mouse that is in combination, it would make things really messy...

 

I am trying to work out how I can have a drop down menu next to the product (laptop) that lists products, and if selected are reduced from the stock. So having a single product and inventory that is used across multiple product combinations.

 

I really hope that the above makes sense...

Sorry to any confusion, but would really appreciate if someone could tell me how I can achieve this.
