Recommended Posts

Hi all

I want to know process of creating a default htacess file by Prestashop. I mean how does prestashop creates default htacess file. If someone knows then please tell me because i have to put some regex code and redirect codes as defaults and every time i have to put those code in htaccess by ftp which i don't like .

So is there any way to put the code as default in the htaccess file ?

PrestaShop™ 1.4.4.1 and everytime i have put the redirect code in it and again in two or three days and sometimes in a week the code disappears and i have to put it again. Very disapponting.

and another one is PrestaShop™ 1.4.7.3. in this version the redirect is 302 but i want the 301 as default to my main domain . www version and i have to put the AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php code every time to make it the friendly url work .

So just please tell me where the prestashop system writes the default codes so that i can put these code as defaults.

Thanks in advance

i have setup everything correctly but prestashop does not generates the code that i need it generates a 302 redirect for www which is very bad for seo and it remove this code automatically after some time AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php

By this shoppers cant checkout from my store which is making my store as hell

So do you know how and where prestashop generates default .htacess so that i can put my codes in it to get the my codes as default.?
