gnattle
I had an alert to update the URL SEO page and without thinking I changed the base URL from / to the actual url of the site. The site then completely lost itself as the URL has duplicated itself as tries to go to www.site.co.uk/www.site.co.uk so now I cannot access the back office to change it back. I have searched for an answer and cannot find it. I saw a post about editing the setting.inc and config.inc page but the URLs are not in there? Can I edit one of the files to remove this base URL back to what it was, then upload it to solve this? When you browse to the admin page it does not do anything it looks just like the messed up home page. Please help! Site address is: www.radiator.annacalvert.co.uk You will see what I mean by the duplication.

El Patron
well, you didn't really answer my question, I asked if you change the UR'I' lets assume you did... You will need access to your my sql db, using phpmyadmin for example Change the table yourprefix_shop_url field physical_uri to / http://screencast.com/t/OFR0Fyn9
gnattle
Sorry yes I did you are right. I use Dreamweaver. Am I able to change it with that? Or do I need to download phpmyadmin? Thanks for your help
El Patron
you can not access this via dw...that is for files you see via ftp, you need to work with your mysql db log into your hosting account. you should find a button to launch phpmyadmin if you can not find this, then contact your hosting provider (I'd first search via google)
