ragnar_blackbeard
I just downloaded Prestashop couple of days ago, and guess what, I didn't sleep the whole night trying to figure out the problem during installation. I've done careful installation as per Prestashop's user guide but the installation just didn't work. Honestly, reading Prestashop's claim on "easy installation" seems like an empty promise to me. But thankfully, I was assisted by my web hosting company ( Exabytes). I am not really a technical guy, so I can't really describe the real problem.. but I was told by the Exabyte support staff that Prestashop don't allow installation under "/wwwroot/" folder. They work hard to figure the problem out. So I think PrestaShop should look into this problem, so that future users that are using the same platform as Exabyte wouldn't encounter the same problem. Here's their email contact: [email protected] You can talk to Mr. Chetan about the problem, since he was the one that really helped me solving it. Just for your info, I am using Exabyte's Windows Hosting services (http://exabytes.com/...ing/windows.php)
