emiol
I just installed prestashop on myt site and decided to add the categories for my products. Each time I added a new category, I got category successfully addred but on going to check it in the category section of my admin portal, it fails to show but when I go into the maintenance section, the newly added category will be there. Please advise.
PascalVG
Hmmm, may be a browser cache problem. Try to clear your browser cache and load again. My $0.02, pascal
vekia
im not sure at all of course but it looks like problem with shop cache, in this case make sure that you've got force compilation turned "on" and cache to OFF while you're working on your template etc. - it's a good practice. after all - turn force compile off and cache on. sssteven
I am having a similar issue, I am wondering if the problem has to do with making pages in the catalog, and the CMS pages. Does anyone know what the difference is? I have created pages in my catalog, and even added an item to test but there are no separate pages with the category names on them. However, I just noticed in the CMS that there are 3 pages listed below it which are the about us, terms and conditions, and payment secure, which came already made with the program. Where are category pages supposed to be created, CMS or in the catalog? Here is a link to my front page in live edit, and what shows up that should be on my website http://tradeyourdiamond.com/ps/? live_edit=1&ad=admin0835&liveToken=942d73cc55181fdce64764b0d603ae1c&id_employee=1 Here is what my website looks like actually http://tradeyourdiamond.com/ps/ As you can see all the blocks do not show up. Also, if you click on the link of the store picture I get an error message. I cannot get any of the CMS pages to link with any other pages. Any ideas?
