Richard S
Hello, I would like to let you know about some emails I got yesterday trough my email. A person called Gil Valencia and email [email protected] contacted me about buying one of my modules and re-sale it to USA customers. The talk was pretty usual until he stated that he is CuteFTP co-founder and GloalScape Inc. co-founder which is I think a fraud. There's no info anywhere about him. First of all, I could not find any other information about him on the Internet except his page bestcallmedia.com and some other strange pages which does not have anything in common. In addition, the details about the cuteFTP he provided does not meet and I've contacted GlobalScope Inc. support in order to ask them if they know anything about him. They've replied to me that this is probably a fraud. Be careful about any suggestion to re-sell your modules and other stuff! Carolina Custom Designs
Another to avoid is William Johnson British Bacon [email protected] britishbacon.com He also ordered work and did not complete the payment. We require 50% upfront before starting any work but he has not paid the final payment even though he signed off on the work as 'completed'. Carolina Custom Designs
Be warned of Leo Themes. This liar asked for a "promotional" copy of one of my modules to highlight it in a theme he was supposedly developing. He agreed to provide a link within the theme to our site stating that we developed the module and that we sold other useful modules. Needless to say he never did "finish" the theme and I have seen that he STOLE our module; renamed it and is now branding it with his company name. I've tried to contact him several times and he responded the first few times saying he had put the theme "on hold" due to other projects. This was almost 1 year ago now. I would advise all module developers to never give this liar a module for free. And, yes, for anyone wondering I have proof of everything I've written above.
