Can not log in to back office

Hey,

 

I have just installed the last 5 version of prestashop, but each version indicate the same failure. When i am trying to enter the back office, i type the email address, and the password, the site reloads, and asks for it again. When i type a wrong password it says it was a wrong password. The same issue with explorer, and chrome also... Please help me what to do....

Hi,

Have you tried to register and log in to your Front-end? If you still experiencing the problem, even after the reinstall, try to change the Ciphering setting,

go to your database table PS_CONFIGURATION, change

id_configuration = 74

name = PS_CIPHER_ALGORITHM

value = from 1 -> change to 0

I also noticed several times problem with ... browser cache, try to clear the browser cache

you can also check the browser console log (sometimes it's related to the js script issues)

Thanks your answer. Thats wierd... I tried to log in... I couldnt... I have registered. After a i had my account typed the usernam, and psw, and the same problem i described... Reloads the page, and nothing happens... Now i chek the cipher...

I experienced some weird behavior when using mcrypt Rijndael method. I solved by recompiling the mcrypt extension in my server though, before I just changed the PS_CIPHER_ALGORITHM to 0
