joshidarshan87
I have an active prestashop store on live server. I have installed theme and have customized the store according to the requirement. I have uploaded the data to my store. Now I want to upload sample data on my store while keeping the existing data safe. How could I achieve this situation? Should I import the sample data into my store? will it effect my existing data?
Sharak
What data are you talking about? You have some products on your store and want to upload some more produts from another store or maybe just want some irrelevant data for testing?

Sharak
http://www.wampserver.com/en/ Are you familiar with wamp or xampp? You can install all your web pages on your harddrive and test them how you like.
vekia
that's correct, if you don't want to "work" on your live shop - just create mirror on your HDD you will be able to change / test as many code / data / features as you want without loosing the original "live shop"
