[SOLVED]Parse error on installation

Hello,

I cant install Prestashop, I uploaded it like 3 times, using different FTP clients, and, when I try to install using a browser (Chrome), I keep receiving following message:

 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /homez.162/atequa/NosSites/soleo-supertan/www/index.php on line 28

 

Can somebody help me, client is getting restless...

Did you find the solution already?

if not, please first confirm your host meets the requirements that Prestashop sets:

http://www.prestashop.com/en/system-requirements

 

Especially check php version you use. Did you download the Prestashop directly from their site or somewhere else?

Thank you PascalVG, it turn out that mistake was mine (or my provider's). As it was stated million times before on this forum, all I had to do was to check PHP version, and as soon as we set to latest, there was no problems with Prestashop. Sometimes it's just easier to cry for help then to struggle with all kind of technical support.
