stottycabanas
At the moment, the structure on my host is mydomain.com/mycompany/mystore, with mystore being the prestashop folder. I want to move the store up a level, so that I have mydomain.com/mycompany, with mycompany now being the prestashop folder. I'm intending to do the following: 1. Take a backup of the store & database 2. In the back office change the URI from mycompany/mystore to just mycompany 3. Exit back office 4. Rename mycompany folder to mycompanyold 5. Rename mystore folder to mycompany 6. Move the mycompany folder up a level so it's under mydomain.com 7. I should then be able to access back office via mydomain.com/mycompany/adminxxxx 8. ... and the store via mydomain.com/mycompany Will that do it? Anything else I need to do? Thanks in advance for any advice. Dave Edited August 2, 2013 by stottycabanas (see edit history)
vekia
hello everything looks fine remember to use "/" in the shop uri, it's necessary (without css styles wont load)
stottycabanas
Thank you Vekia. All seems to have worked OK - I just needed to amend a couple of the URLs for items I have in the top horizontal menu. I'll mark as solved.

stottycabanas
Sure. As of yesterday, it's now a live site - www.zimport.co.uk/jacaranda NB - I have done nothing towards SEO yet, just wanted to get the basic site working first with a selection of products to tie in with a particular event. There's probably still a bit of tidying up to do, but at least we're up & running!
