eochaid
Hello. First (excuse me for my bad english) I must say that I use Prestashop 1.4.7. Then, I have a problem when selling products with low stock during a short period of time. The fact is that, when there's only one unit in stock, and two customers buy the product in almost the same time, the shop sells the product to the both of them, causing, first, a negative stock, second, that I have to refund the money to the second customer. I don't know how to fix this problem and I need a solution, so I ask and give thanks in advance.
vekia
but what you exactly expect? to disable order of the product?
NemoPS
You could activate mail alerts when a product stock is low (though now I can't remeber if it was available on 1.4), and restock it if you expect massive sales, or disable it. Or, place a warning, there is no real way to prevent these things, they happen on amazon as well sometimes
Sharak
Edit your product, go to Quantities tab and set Minimal quantity to 2 (default is 1). This is solution for presta 1.5, but should be something similar in 1.4 Edited August 2, 2013 by Sharak (see edit history)
NemoPS
But this way people would be forced to buy 2 products
