Payment Module Cash On Delivery - Change title

Hi All,

 

 

I want to change the text "Pay with cash on delivery (COD)"

 

to

 

"We accept Bank Deposit".

 

I already edit the payment.tpl.

Did you change the right file? It may be overwritten in your theme folder (look for /themes/your/theme/modules/cashondelivery/ )

 

It could also be that your cache settings are not set to recompile files in Advanced Preferences->performance.

Thanks! I was able to change the title of COD to Bank Deposit but there are still "Titles that are "COD".'

 

When I see the Payment History, it is still "Cash on Delivery", please see the attached files,

please let me know what files need to be updated.

The module name for orders that were placed is saved in tge database in ps_orders, it cannot be translated, you can only manually change it.

^{I already see it, yes, from the database the Payment name is "Bank Deposit" so this is ok,} but when the order was already sent to their email, there is this sentence "Payment: Cash On Delivery (COD)".Please see the file "Still Cash On Delivery_jpg". See also the PS_Orders_jpg".

 

 

I dont think we don't need to edit the PS_Orders table but please correct me if I am wrong.
