MartyW
Hello, I am testing the order system on my website (it uses PrestaShop 1.5.4.1) and I have configured the carriers in the back office. Only one carrier is enabled to ship outside of the UK (See picture 1) but when I try to go through the order process PrestaShop claims no carriers are enabled for John DOE's Country which is "France" I have attached pictures showing that France is enabled and the error being thrown. Is there another setting im missing in the back office? I added the each countries names manually but presta doesn't want to recognise them, is there away that I can get Presta to recognise them? The issue corrects itself when I select Europe but I don't want to ship to all of Europe. I have enabled France via... Localization > Countries > France Any help would be great thanks in advance Marty Edited July 30, 2013 by MartyW (see edit history)
benjamin utterback
Hi Marty, have you made price and weight ranges for your Carrier?
MartyW
Hi Benjamin yes I have set all the weight ranges and associated them with their relative prices Edited July 30, 2013 by MartyW (see edit history)
MartyW
Hi, Selecting Europe as a whole is only going to be a short term fix as I cannot set up shipping rates on a country by country basis. It costs me £12 to ship to Ireland and £24 to ship to France I could set up carriers on a country by country basis but this will result in duplication of data which isn't really advisable. Any thoughts?
benjamin utterback
Hi, what zone is the carrier assigned to, Europe? You have made multiple zones for each country?
MartyW
Do I have to make the countries sub regions of Europe i.e. have Europe as the parent and France as a child?
benjamin utterback
Well, first I'm just wondering if you actually did make zones for each of the countries listed in your Fees by Geographic Region... In that section, it shows the zones that you have made. Did you make additional zones for the countries like United Kingdom, France etc.?
MartyW
Hello Benjamin, You were right Under Localization > Countries > Edit > Zone I didn't change the "zone" value to match the newly created zones i.e. France they all defaulted to Europe when they were created. I have attached screen shots. Screen shots 7 & 8 show the solution the rest have been attached for good measure. Thanks for your help Marty
