anyone know of a free module for editing home feature in the mass/bulk?

what do you wants to edit? Assign to home category can be fast edit via direct SQL-query (If you have some expirience of that).

exactly what alexander was saying, but how do i edit via direct SQL-quer?

I ment that you can change product categories (tables: product, category_product) directly in database using phpMyAdmin, for example

all i want to do is reasign products to feature home category in the mass or a faster way of doing it instead of going into each product and reasigning every single one at a time.

You can try next SQL-query:

INSERT INTO `DBPREFIX_category_product` VALUES (ID_CATEGORY,ID_PRODUCT,POSITION)
