first1
Maybe using https (by getting an SSL certificate?), search google for SSL certificate
BallooningMarvelous
I went so far, I got a SSL certificate, I uploaded it to the server.Went on to cPanel, wait a sec... theres no option on the SSL Manager to install it.I contacted my host, oh ye I'm on a shared IP - Only £40 a year to go dedicated.I don't need SSL if I'm using Paypal to process my payments anyway.Anything else I can do?Thanks! first1
are you in the uk?Send me a PM, what kind of host charged £40?
first1
it depends on what kind of data you are collecting from your customers... some of customer dont sign up to buy something if the site is not secure.SSL does not cost much (it hardly costs anything in my case). send me a PM and will tell u how. Univers des Petits
in addition to ssl, also install crawltrack (www.crawltrack.net)It has an "anti-injection protection" (against injection attacks)
