[solved] Wholesale approve account before you can access the site

prestashop 1.5 approve account

 

Hi guys.. i have a website thats wholesale only.. i want to STOP viewing,, like a wall that stops everyone from browsing my site untill they register.. and when they register i need to approve account there account first.. is there anything out there that can do this for me .?

 

something like the regastration page would be the first pages there LOCKED at,,,

Hi Thomas,

 

1. Go to Customer -> Groups

2. edit (Click on the edit icon, don't just click the record) "Visitor", "Guest", "Customer" scroll down to "Module restriction", add all your module, except "user info block" (to let them register to your site)

 

The idea is this, since you unauthorized everyone (both visitor, or customer) from all modules, except the "Wholesale" groups, the approval process will occur by you changing "customer" to "wholesale".

 

This way you achieve :

(1) All visitor / public will not see anything until they register

(2) even if they do register (as customer) they won't see anything also, until you change them to "wholesale"

 

if this solution works for you, a little click on "like this" wouldn't hurt

There is a paid module Private shop http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/prestashop-modules/30-private-shop.html

that can turn complete shop private, so customers must register first.
