[solved] access denied back office dashboard

Hi good morning, I have a few days trying to solve a problem and I can not find it.

 

I upgraded a store from the v 1.3 to v1.5, everything works fine, products, categories, etc..

 

But the problem is that when you enter the store, gets access denied and not leave the home page prestashop, comes access denied, but everything else works correctly.

 

Any ideas. thanks

you're loggin as a shop administrator or as an employee?

So you can't access any of the tabs? what about the employee one? have you tried with other profiles?

ALso, try accessing your database, ps_employee table, and set profile id 1 for your superadmin profile

Hi, it's seemed that you got opted out in permission "Home", which is a problem since super admin should have all the permission (Administration -> Permission).

 

Try this: login as your super admin account, add a new employee with "Administrator" Profile, verify that his permission (Administration -> Permission -> Administrator) is correctly configured to view/edit/delete/add HOME

 

Login with that newly created account.

 

If you don't see anymore access denied, then you must manually add profile id = 1, to ps_access, id_tab=0, view,add,edit,delete=1 since Super Admin permission cannot be modified via the back-end.

Everything was so attached image, I created a new administrator user and also has access denied, also change the admin folder for an original.

Have you (as super admin) changed the permission of the Administrator profile permission to enable view /edit/delete/add the Home section ?

Hi, it seems that this is the problem permits the p anel, I have the option of home, I entered the test prestashop and there if I have the option to leave at home, but in my prestashop not that table I have to add this option. thanks

there is no possibility to change the permissions for admin account, i think that the problem is somewhere else

Hello, in the end I solved by copying the 3 tables ps_tab, a back up, which was prior to the error. Thank you very much for everything

Hi there, I just had the same issue as the OP, where the Access Denied error would show while logging in as Super Admin in Prestashop 1.5.6.2. The error showed immediately after log in, where the Dashboard would normally show.

 

I had tried a 1.6 upgrade in Prestashop, but decided against it after the upgrade. I restored the shop back to v1.5.6.2, and this is when the error started showing.

 

I found the issue. In the database, the ps_tab table has a AdminDashboard entry at the top. This needs to be deleted, as the 1.5.6.2 version doesnt use this entry. I deleted this entry, and voila, the Admin dashboard shows up upon log in.

I upgraded from 1.5.6 to 1.6 and the Access Denied would show after logging in as Super Admin even though I could access everything in the BO.

 

I deleted the ps_tab AdminDashboard, and when I logged in the Access Denied was still there but my Dashboard had gone.

 

Will try to add it again but I may have to do a DB restore.

I have a similar problem, and don't quite know how to fix it.

 

my site is up and running, finally, now i went to change the quantities on some products, and after logging in as superadmin i don't get access to all areas including product quantity and other product pages.

My business partner has the same problem on our site.

i put in a new employee with superadmin, and same again for them.

 

anyone have any ideas on what i need to do.

i am using prestashop1.6 (latest version as of 17 December 2014).

I have similiar problem but not whit the super admin, the problem was whit the sales man. I just log in like super admin and go to permissions and turn off and after that on the permissions for dashboard and the problem was solved.

if you tried everything, but is not work try this:

 

Go administration-> menu, if do not have "HOME" line add it.

 

Name: Home, Class: AdminHome, Status check show, Parent: Home.

I have same problem for employee (only when logged on via smartphone!).

But when I try to add Home I get this error:

"The class name 'AdminHomeController' cannot be found."
